Fabricator / Welder Temporary to Permanent
Location – Pontefract
£17.00 £18.50/hour (DOE) + Overtime
We are looking for anexperienced, apprentice-trained Fabricator/Welderto join our growing team in Pontefract. This role is initially temporary, with a strong opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
This isnot a production welding role were looking for someone who can fabricate, assemble, and assist with installation ofautomatic industrial gates and associated steelwork.
The Role
- Fabrication and assembly ofautomatic gates and bespoke steelwork
- MIG welding to a high standard
- Working from engineering drawings
- Workshop-based withsome on-site installation work
What Were Looking For
- Apprentice-trained and qualified Fabricator/Welder
- Proven fabrication experience (not just production welding)
- ValidCSCS card(essential)
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards
- Clean driving licencepreferred
Pay & Benefits
- £17.00 £18.50 per hour (depending on experience and ability)
- Overtime after45 hours:1.33x (midweek)
- Weekend overtime:1.5x
- Opportunity to secure apermanent position
Higher rates considered for candidates with strong site experience or gate/automation background.
