The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Spot Welder to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Atherstone on Stour. This is a full-time ongoing position with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract following a successful temporary period. It’s a great opportunity to develop within a specialist engineering business
Shift Hours
08:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday
08:00-13:00 Friday
Duties Include
- Spot welding mild steel components
- Operate resistance welding machinery and associated production equipment
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Fabricating and assembling metal products
- Quality checking completed work
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Candidate Requirements
- Previous Spot welding experience essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual attitude
- Own transport required due to rural location and limited public transport links
