About the Role

Recruit A Driver is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for a reputable client based in Scunthorpe.

This role involves a mix of local trailer runs and 45 national drops per shift, offering straightforward trunking work with regular weekday day shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete local trailer runs or 45 national drops per shift
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Accurately complete PODs and delivery paperwork
• Ensure timely and professional deliveries
• Maintain compliance with driving hours and road safety regulations

Shifts & Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 07:00 start times
• Ongoing work available
• Immediate starts

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Minimum 6 months recent Class 1 driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
